This is a role for someone who’s not only skilled in modern front-end frameworks like React, Svelte, or Vue.js but also has the experience to architect scalable SaaS solutions from scratch. It’s all about designing secure, high-performing web applications that make a real impact—think Canva or Shopify, but with even more customization.
About the Role
This position is a mix of hands-on development and high-level architecture. You’ll lead front-end solutions for cutting-edge projects while collaborating with a brilliant team. It’s a chance to get deep into frameworks, play with the latest tools, and solve interesting technical challenges.
You’ll also work directly with clients (no middlemen translating requirements), so strong communication skills and a love for problem-solving are essential.
What They’re Looking For
- Experience: 10+ years of front-end development, with a strong foundation in JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, and CSS/SASS/SCSS.
- Frameworks: Deep expertise in modern frameworks like React, Svelte, or Vue.js.
- SaaS Expertise: Experience designing SaaS platforms, ideally with drag-and-drop interfaces or scalable architectures.
- API Knowledge: Proficiency in integrating third-party APIs (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys).
- Best Practices: A strong advocate for Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD workflows, and clean coding practices.
- Modern Tools: Familiarity with Vite, Rollup, Turborepo, and the latest in web app tooling.
- Security Focus: A clear understanding of current web application security threats and how to mitigate them.
- AWS, Salesforce, or Shopify experience.
- Understanding of accessibility standards (AA Conformance).
- Background in Postgres, Redis, or other modern databases.
