🍓Senior Digital Performance Specialist (SEM)

This role is ideal for someone who loves being hands-on with the tools, diving deep into the numbers, and analyzing campaign performance. While the primary focus will be on SEM, paid socials will be a secondary focus, allowing you to influence and refine strategies across various channels as they grow their presence in the UK, US, and Australia.

The Role

As the Senior Digital Performance Specialist, you will work closely with the Head of Digital Marketing to manage all paid media channels. Your primary responsibility will be planning, developing, and executing SEM strategies across multiple regions, with a strong emphasis on data analysis and performance optimization. In addition to SEM, you will also manage paid social media campaigns on platforms such as Meta, Pinterest, and TikTok.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • SEM Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement SEM strategies for the UK and US markets, while overseeing agency-managed campaigns in Australia. Your role will be hands-on, focusing on data-driven decision-making and campaign optimization.
  • Social Media Advertising: While paid socials will be a secondary focus, you will plan and execute campaigns to enhance brand visibility and drive conversions.
  • Campaign Management: Oversee digital campaigns promoting their marketplace and SaaS offerings to both B2C and B2B audiences.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Utilize Looker Studio, GA4, and other tools to analyze campaign performance, build reports, and provide actionable insights to the leadership team.
  • Collaboration & Strategy Alignment: Work closely with internal stakeholders to align on strategies and ensure cohesive direction.

Skills & Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of experience managing Google Ads with large budgets.
  • 2+ years of experience with social ads.
  • Experience in international markets, particularly the UK and US.
  • Background in industries such as travel, hospitality, tourism, gifting, or two-sided marketplaces.
  • Proficiency in biddable software, data feed management, and Google Analytics (GA4).
  • Strong organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
  • A passion for being hands-on with tools and an aptitude for detailed data analysis.

Desirable Skills

  • Passion for SEM and digital marketing.
  • Adaptability to new platforms and tools.
  • Experience with Data Studio, attribution modeling, tracking, and tagging.
  • Familiarity with B2B paid media marketing and SEO collaboration.
