🚀 The Opportunity
This is not your typical “reset passwords and fix laptops” role.
We’re working with a high-growth tech business going through a full AI-led transformation. Think smarter workflows, connected systems, less noise, more signal.
They’re looking for a Platform Engineer (Internal Tooling) to design and optimise the internal ecosystem that powers the entire company.
Every tool. Every workflow. Every integration.
You’re not here to react to tickets.
You’re here to build the engine behind how the business runs.
🧠 What You’ll Be Doing
- Architect and evolve the internal tooling ecosystem across the business
- Design how platforms connect: comms, CRM, support, project tools, automation layers
- Lead tool consolidation and standardisation (cut the chaos, keep what works)
- Drive adoption and best practices across teams
- Own identity, access, and governance across all systems (SSO, RBAC, IAM)
- Partner with leadership to optimise workflows across CX, Sales, Marketing, Finance
- Build and integrate AI-powered and automated workflows (n8n, APIs, etc.)
- Deliver continuous improvement projects that actually move the needle
🛠️ Tech & Tools (Typical Stack)
- Google Workspace / Office 365 (migration experience a big plus)
- Slack (admin, governance, integrations)
- ClickUp, Jira, Confluence (or similar)
- HubSpot, Intercom (nice to have)
- n8n / Zapier / automation tooling
- SSO, IAM, RBAC (SAML, OIDC)
- MDM tools (NinjaOne, Jamf, Intune etc.)
- API integrations (REST, webhooks, OAuth)
Stack is flexible — mindset and capability matter more.
