They are looking for a Systems Engineer who thinks like a platform architect. Someone who can design, connect and optimise internal tools so the entire business runs sharper, faster and more efficiently.

This is not a support role. You will run projects, not tickets.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Owning the architecture of internal systems across collaboration, CRM, project management, automation and data platforms
• Leading a full migration from Microsoft Office 365 to Google Workspace including planning, execution, data migration and decommissioning
• Designing and implementing identity and access management across all tools including SSO, SAML or OIDC and role based access control
• Establishing governance across systems including folder structures, naming conventions, permissions and security models
• Auditing tool usage across teams and eliminating duplication, inefficiencies and underutilised platforms
• Partnering with business units to configure tools around real workflows rather than generic setups
• Building automation workflows across tools using n8n or similar platforms including API driven integrations
• Managing onboarding, offboarding and lifecycle automation across systems and identity layers
• Creating documentation, internal guides and self service tooling for teams
• Managing vendor relationships, licensing, renewals and cost optimisation across SaaS stack
• Delivering continuous improvement projects that directly impact productivity and operational efficiency

Tech Environment and Stack Depth

You will be working across a broad and interconnected SaaS and infrastructure environment:

Core Platforms

• Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments including migration between the two
• Slack administration including channel governance, app integrations and automation
• Project tools such as ClickUp, Jira and Confluence at configuration and admin level

CRM and Customer Platforms

• HubSpot and Intercom configuration, integrations and workflow optimisation

Automation and Integrations

• n8n or similar workflow automation tools such as Zapier
• API integrations using REST, webhooks and OAuth
• Connecting systems across the business to reduce manual processes

Identity, Access and Security

• SSO configuration across SaaS tools
• SAML and OIDC authentication
• Role based access control and permission modelling
• User lifecycle automation for joiners, movers and leavers

Endpoint and Network

• MDM and RMM tools such as NinjaOne, Jamf or Intune
• Device compliance, patching and endpoint security
• Exposure to network tools such as Cisco Meraki is beneficial

Data and Dev Ecosystem

• Exposure to tools such as GitHub, Snowflake, dbt, Airbyte or BI platforms
• Understanding how internal systems connect into data pipelines and reporting layers

What They’re Looking For

• 5 years plus experience in Systems Engineering, Platform Engineering or Internal Tools environments
• Strong hands on experience with Google Workspace or Microsoft 365, ideally both
• Proven experience delivering platform or tooling projects rather than pure support work
• Deep understanding of SaaS ecosystems and how tools integrate across a business
• Strong experience with IAM including SSO, SAML or OIDC and RBAC models
• Experience with automation platforms such as n8n, Zapier or similar
• Ability to work with APIs, integrations and cross platform workflows
• Experience administering collaboration and project tools at scale
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with business stakeholders
• Someone who takes ownership, drives outcomes and improves systems proactively

• This is a proactive and project driven role, not IT support
• You will sit above day to day operations and focus on systems, structure and optimisation
• High visibility role working across the entire business
• 5 days in the office
