This role sits right at the centre of that transformation.
You won’t be resetting passwords. You won’t be buried in tickets.
You’ll be architecting how the entire company operates.
🧠 The Opportunity
This is a platform-first Systems Engineer role, focused on designing, optimising and owning the internal tooling ecosystem across the business.
Think:

You’ll work closely with leadership — including AI and data teams — to shape the future of internal operations.

🛠 What You’ll Be Owning
Internal Platform Architecture
- Design and maintain the blueprint of how all internal tools integrate and operate together
- Lead a full migration from Office 365 to Google Workspace
- Establish best-in-class structures for permissions, naming conventions and governance
- Evaluate tools critically — reduce sprawl and ensure everything adds value
Tool Optimisation & Enablement
- Audit how teams use tools today and identify inefficiencies
- Partner with CX, Sales, Marketing, Finance and Compliance to improve workflows
- Build documentation, playbooks and training materials
- Drive best practice across collaboration tools like Slack and project platforms
Identity, Access & Security
- Own IAM across SaaS tools — including SSO, RBAC and onboarding/offboarding automation
- Implement scalable access models and governance frameworks
- Manage endpoint and device policies across the organisation
- Maintain network and office infrastructure standards
Automation & Continuous Improvement
- Drive quarterly improvement projects across systems and workflows
- Work closely with AI teams to integrate automation and intelligent workflows
- Build reporting around tool usage, adoption and cost optimisation
- Manage vendor relationships and licensing
⚙️ Tech & Tools Environment
You’ll be working across a modern SaaS and data stack, including:
- Google Workspace (moving from O365)
- Slack, Zoom
- ClickUp, Jira, Confluence
- HubSpot, Intercom
- n8n and automation tooling
- NinjaOne, Cisco Meraki
- GitHub, Snowflake, dbt, Airbyte, Power BI
It’s a proper ecosystem — not a patchwork.
👀 What We’re Looking For
Must-Have Experience
- 5+ years in Systems Engineering, Internal Platforms or IT tooling environments
- Strong experience with Google Workspace or Office 365 (migration experience highly valued)
- Deep Slack admin experience — integrations, governance, automation
- Experience configuring project tools like ClickUp, Jira, Asana or similar
- Solid understanding of IAM, SSO, SAML/OIDC and role-based access
- Experience with MDM/RMM tools like NinjaOne, Jamf or Intune
- A project mindset — you plan, prioritise and deliver, not just react
Nice to Have
- Experience with automation tools like n8n or Zapier
- Exposure to API integrations, webhooks, REST
- Cisco Meraki or network experience
- Experience in fintech, trading or fast-paced tech environments

💰 Package
- $140,000 – $160,000 + superannuation
