We’re working with a seriously talented tech team in Chatswood that is solving complex technical problems – not just knocking out basic marketing sites.

They’re looking for two Mid-Level Software Engineers who love building clean, modern web applications with React, Node.js, TypeScript and Next.js, and who enjoy shipping regularly through CI/CD.

If you also happen to speak Mandarin, that’s a big plus (but not essential).

What you’ll be doing

• Building front-end features in React / Next.js with clean, reusable TypeScript.
• Working across the Node.js backend to integrate APIs and services.
• Owning features end-to-end – from idea → implementation → deployment via CI/CD.
• Tackling complex technical problems around performance, scalability, and user experience.
• Collaborating closely with other engineers, designers and product to ship high-quality releases.
• Writing tests and caring about code quality, maintainability and best practices.

What we’re looking for

• 3+ years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Strong skills in React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js in a production environment.
• Exposure to Next.js (or strong willingness to pick it up quickly).
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern dev workflows (Git, code reviews, etc).
• Comfortable working 5 days a week on-site in Chatswood.
• Mandarin language skills are a nice-to-have, not a deal-breaker.
• Clear communicator, team player, and someone who enjoys solving hard problems with others.

Visa & eligibility

• 485 visa holders are very welcome to apply, as long as you have at least 2+ years remaining on your visa.
• Full working rights in Australia (now and for the medium term) are required.
