Join the founding engineering team of a well-funded healthtech startup building the technical foundation for truly personalized preventive healthcare.
Backed by leading venture investors and founded by experienced operators from high-growth fintech and healthcare technology companies, the business combines whole-genome sequencing, 100+ biomarkers and clinical AI to help identify health risks before they become problems.
You’ll work directly with the founders in a high-autonomy environment, owning features from idea through to production across both patient-facing and clinician-facing products.
What you’ll be doing
- Build and ship end-to-end features across Python/FastAPI and Next.js
- Develop clinician dashboards, patient health views and AI-powered experiences
- Transform complex genomic, biomarker and epigenetic data into clear, useful insights
- Build intelligent parsing, search and retrieval layers across health records
- Work closely with design and the founding team to influence product direction
- Use AI coding tools extensively to move quickly in a continuous-deployment environment
- Help shape the engineering practices and technical foundations of an early-stage company
What we’re looking for
- 2+ years of full-stack or product engineering experience
- Experience within a highly regarded VC-backed startup or leading technology company
- Strong Python/FastAPI backend and Next.js frontend capability
- A track record of independently shipping high-quality, end-to-end product features
- Experience building data-heavy interfaces, dashboards or complex user workflows
- Daily use of AI development tools such as Cursor, Copilot or similar
- Strong product judgment and the ability to turn a high-level problem and Figma design into the right technical solution
- A strong computer science foundation
Experience in healthcare, genomics, biotech or clinical data would be highly regarded, but is not essential.

This is a full-time position based five days a week near Madison Square Park in New York City. Candidates already based in NYC are preferred due to an in-person work-trial stage.
