Tech includes: Python, Go, React & Next.js, React Native, Flutter, Native iOS & Android, AI Agents, LLMs, Recommendation Systems, Data Infrastructure.
💻 Stay technical — this is roughly a 50/50 split between hands-on engineering and technical leadership.
🌏 Help shape the company — work directly alongside the founders, influencing product strategy, technical direction, hiring and engineering culture.
📋 What You’ll Be Doing
⚡ Lead technical execution across backend, frontend, mobile, AI and data
⚡ Turn ambitious product ideas into practical technical roadmaps
⚡ Solve complex engineering problems across multiple domains
⚡ Drive engineering quality, speed and scalability
⚡ Build AI-assisted engineering workflows that dramatically increase developer productivity
⚡ Mentor engineers through technical leadership rather than traditional management
⚡ Help define hiring standards and grow a world-class engineering team
⚡ Champion an AI-first engineering culture where LLMs and agentic tools are part of everyday development
🔍 We’re Looking For Someone Who…
You might currently be a: Staff Engineer, Tech Lead, Engineering Lead, Founding Engineer, Head of Engineering, Hands-on Engineering Manager, or CTO at an early-stage startup.
You’ll likely have:
🈺 5+ years building production software
🈺 Deep expertise in AI Agents, Recommendation Systems, or Large-scale consumer products
🈺 Experience at a fast-growing VC-backed startup or rapid progression at a top technology company
🈺 Strong engineering fundamentals across backend, frontend and mobile
🈺 Production experience with Python, Go, React or React Native
🈺 Experience using LLMs and AI tools as part of your daily engineering workflow
🈺 Experience helping hire, mentor or build engineering teams
🈺 Excellent communication with founders, product and engineering teams
🈶 Professional Mandarin language skills
🈺 Availability to work Pacific Time hours
